Sponsored Projects Services

Sponsored Project Services provides support for proposal preparation and postaward administration of grants and contracts. 

Office of Research and Contract Analysis

The Office of Research and Contract Analysis facilitates research and development activities sponsored by internal and/or external agencies through various activities:

• Negotiates with sponsors and subcontractors concerning grants, contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and material transfers so that they conform to the policies of the University and the sponsors.
• Prepares, executes, and maintains standard agreements, subcontracts, and other agreements related to extramural funding.
• Certifies compliance with University and government regulations concerning protection of human subjects, recombinant DNA, conflict of interest, lobbying, drug free workplace, debt and debarment, and other Federal assurances and certifications.
• Signs on behalf of the Arizona Board of Regents the acceptance of grants, contracts, and other agreements for all campus units.

Office of Technology Transfer

The Office of Technology Transfer protects, manages, and transfers UA's owned intellectual property to expand public-private relationships, and further the University's mission.
